CUSP Water Tower Grand Opening Reception

As I mentioned earlier, I was really excited when I heard that CUSP was opening a brand new store location in Chicago so naturally when I received an invite to go to the store's grand opening reception there was no way I was going to pass this up. I was introduced to CUSP over a year ago when they opened a store at Century City Mall in LA and ever since it's been love at first site.

My lovely friend Jenn and I arrived shortly after 7pm when the event started and I was filled with excitement. We walked in to be greeted by staff handing out wine, champagne and apps while models strolled throughout the store showing off the season's hottest gear. The store was filled with fashionistas eyeing the handbags that hung in the center of the store from floor to ceiling and the shoes that included such labels as Hunter, Pucci, Loeffler Randall, Pour la Victoire and much more.



Aside from shoes and handbags, the store was lined with racks and racks of clothing from some of my favorite designers. We were surrounded by DVF, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Trina Turk, Rebecca Beeson, Alice+Olivia and so much more - and without a doubt I could have easily taken every single item home with me. Sadly though I did not. Maybe it was the combination of the champagne, house music and sweet purple treats, but I couldn't help but admire everything to the point where I was overwhelmed and undecided which means that I just have to make another trip to complete a purchase. :)



Overall, we had such a fun time and will definitely make a trip to CUSP often to check out what new items are in store. We left around 8:30 and as we exited we were handed these gift boxes finished off with satin red ribbon. Any guesses as to what our parting gift was????? I plan on using it this weekend so I will reveal the awesome item this weekend, but would love to hear your predictions.
